rlpOS working. currently on hold indefinitely May 2003

This is a rate-monotomic priority-preemptive multitasking Real Time Operating System (RTOS) written in C to run on a M68HC12 microcontroller. It is functional, but only has the bare essentials: Mutexes, semaphores, task control blocks, etc. It's pretty sweet, though, because I wrote it with no references to how on OS is written, let alone a RTOS. I have since verified that it is actually quite similar to popular RTOS's on the market such as u/COS and others.

 

6DOF in progress June 2001

A 6 Degree Of Freedom flight simulator. It is mostly being built as a hybrid engine simulator test-bed for future use. It is very modular and contains a LOT of detail. I work on it in spurts. Written in Matlab.

 

MaCH-SR1 finished, for now Sept 2000

This was an extremely ambitious project that I did for my Senior Project in Aerospace as an undergrad. I was the team lead for two years on this project which ended with the successfull firing of two 1000 lbf hybrid rocket engines fueled by liquid oxygen and an HTPB fuel.

C501 finished August 2000

An 8051 controller board. I did it in one of the classes that I took in my undergrad to get the Embedded Systems Certificate from the Electrical Engineering Dept. at CU.
It is wire wrapped on a perfboard. It runs on 64kb of external memory (32kb SRAM, 32kb UVEPROM). It uses a serial port to communicate to the outside world. Fun project. My first time to build a full embedded controller from scratch.
